If you might remember back a few years ago, Jasmine Trias, a Filipina American, was the runner up on American Idol. Haven’t heard much about her in the states since then. I don’t know what she’s done with it there, but one thing is certain, she has parlayed it into something in the Philippines. She has endorsement deals in the Philippines with various companies including Smart, the mobile phone company.
Natasha is a Filipino Direct Marketing firm. They market shoes, clothes and cosmetics throughout the Philippines. Many of the products are made right here in the Philippines. Natasha plays a role in bringing fashion to even the smallest barangays as anyone with the cost of membership can sell Natasha products with a nice commission. Here is a commercial for their brand of perfume.
In the Philippines, there are many awesome places to dive and awesome places to learn all about Scuba Diving. One of the best I have come across is Asia Divers. Asia Divers has several locations in the Philippines to serve you with supplies, training and dive locations. Their PADI courses are some of the best in the world and their supply stores offers some of the best selection of scuba products in the Philippines.
My newest favorite food at Jollibee is the Taco Style Hot Dog. I love tacos and this hot dog is topped with taco meat, sauce and cheese. I love how they taste and sometimes I wish I could eat three or four of them, they are that good. This commercial does them justice, take a look at how the taco style and regular style are a great tandem. In the video you see two starlets, Kim and Gerald.

I came across this You-Tube video that shows a nice tour around Cebu City taking in many sites and sounds. You can see so many of the beautiful sites that Cebu City, The Philippines is so rightly famous for. It’s an opportunity to see parts of Cebu that you don’t normally have a chance to see.

Here is a walk down Fields Avenue by video. It’s a chance to see the world famous avenue during daylight. It looks like a typical Filipino street by day and it doesn’t look like anything special when you look at it. I hear that during the night it livens up quit a bit, but during the day, it is very tame. This is a nice video to take a look at.
